On the 20th of January 2014, a traditional meeting of the president of the city of Cracow Jacek Majchrowski with the Consular Corps of Southern Poland took place. The Honorary Consul Pawel Wlodarczyk took part in the meeting. In the presented evaluation of the cooperation between the city and the consulates, as well as the organisation of numerous international events, the president stressed the meaning of the Croatian Gala, which had taken place on the 3rd of July 2013 and had been organised by the Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Cracow on the occasion of Croatia's access to the EU.

The president thanked the participants for the hitherto cooperation and wished everybody all the best, as well as many successes in the New Year in both private and professional lives.


On the 16th of December this year, representatives of the city of Cracow and Lesser Poland Voivodeship's local government, consular corps, a group of Croatia's sympathizers, as well as the Honorary Consul Pawel Wlodarczyk's friends were once more invited by him to the Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Cracow. The ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Poland, Mrs Andrea Bekić, who was a guest of honour and was visiting Cracow and the Consulate for the first time, was, together with her husband, given a very warm welcome by the participants of the meeting.

On the 12th of December this year, the Honorary Consul Pawel Wlodarczyk met in Cracow with the vice-marshal of Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Mr Jacek Krupa. On December 13th, he met in Katowice with the vice-marshal of Silesia Province, Mr Arkadiusz Checinski. During the meetings, cooperation possibilities in the year 2014 were discussed. The aim of the cooperation is to promote Croatian economy, culture and tourism.


On the 3rd of December 2013, at the Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Cracow, a lecture aimed for the students of the Faculty of Management (the tourism management field) of University of Science and Technology took place. The deputy dean of the Faculty, Mr Dariusz Sala, Ph.D., had made a request for the lecture which was given by the Honorary Consul Pawel Wlodarczyk and in which forty-eight university students took part.


On the 19th of November 2013 in Cracow, the Honorary Consul Pawel Wlodarczyk met with the president of the Korona Sport Club, Mr Jan Mostowik, who runs the swimming section, and put forward a proposal of cooperation and exchange of experience between the club and the Jadran Swimming Club from Split. Both the clubs can pride themselves on rich medal outputs (both domestic and international) and educating many prominent swimmers, including Olympians.
